Delhi NCR is full of life - everywhere, long buildings, crowded markets, and busy people everywhere. But behind all this noise and brightness, there is something that we do not always notice: many people are just struggling to eat
If you ever go through the crowded streets of Delhi NCR, you have probably seen it - hunger, quiet conflicts, people's faces are just trying to make it through another day. In the Swargarohini Foundation, the NGO helping the poor in Delhi NCR , we saw it. And we cannot ignore it.
The Harsh Reality of Hunger on Streets
You think in such a big city - with malls, traffic and large houses - no one will sleep hungry. But sadly, many people do it. Every day.
"There are some young children who have not chosen this life. There are some workers who did not have jobs or money in days. There are some elderly people who have no one to take care of them."
Our Langar Seva and Food Drives
In the Swargarohini Foundation, we believe in the simple joy of feeding others - such as in our Indian tradition, where sharing food with love is seen as a great task. This is why we regularly organize anchor service and food drives in Gurgaon and Delhi NCR.
Our anchor service is straight: Hot, home-cooked style food, love, respect and no question were asked. We do not care where you are from, what you do, or why you are there. If you are hungry, it is enough for us.
Wherever we need us - busy hospitals, under flyovers, in slums, near construction sites. We do not put banners or do not make noise. We just show food in our hands and pity in our hearts.
These food drives occur throughout the month, thanks to our amazing volunteers who give their time and energy without expecting anything in return. A few days we eat hundreds, a few days a few days of food - but every food matters. Every person matters.
Want to Help Us Spread Love and Meals?
We really believe that real change occurs when we come together. In the Swargarohini Foundation, the NGO helping the poor in Delhi NCR, whatever we do, it shows how strong a community can be - and even small tasks of kindness, when done by many, can create a big difference.
Whatever food we serve is possible because someone chose to take care. This can be a small donation, voluntarily, or just the spread of the word.
If you ever thought, "I want to help, but I don't know how" – How it is.
You can sponsor a meal, volunteer on a weekend, celebrate your birthday by feeding others, or simply tell your friends about us. Every small step matters.
We can be just one NGO helping the poor in Delhi NCR - but with our side, we can do a lot.
Hope is not always big. Sometimes, it is a warm plate of rice and lentils.
